If you’re a free subscriber, you’ll automatically receive Part One of Amanuensis in seven daily installments.

Each installment has a reading/listening time of 2-to-5 minutes. There are 36 installments in all. After the initial seven days, the installments will stop—unless you have a paid subscription.

Times have changed

These days, most people spend 15 minutes a day reading a book and 3 hours streaming movies. Fortunately, the Substack platform, which hosts my work, provides a way to fit books into our new way of living. One installment of my novel takes less time to read than a scroll through your Instagram feed. 

I’ve deliberately kept the novella’s chapters and voiceovers short so they’ll fit into your busy day. That’s why this series will be delivered daily. It’s easier to keep up with the story on a daily basis.

Publishing is changing to keep up with the times. Amazon and other publishing platforms have launched a similar daily feed. Is this the future? Does this format work for you? Would you like larger/longer chapters? Should I ditch the narration?
