What’s a fabulous piece. I was unfamiliar with this particular artist. The primitive form sits well with the likes of Clementine Hunter and Louisiana’s own Alvin Batiste of Donaldsonville, who was even commissioned to create an album cover for Bill Bob Thornton’s record Private Radio.

Pippin has a very unique style and inspiring purpose. Magnifique!
