Must you ALWAYS be so deep, thoughtful, and wide ranging? Excellent essay on the costs of fame and the insults of aging with your usual magic touch.

One of my favorite Art Drops, Andrew! Do I say that every time? Mary Ellen Mark’s photographs are mesmerizing - what a talent! But you don’t stop there - you highlight one of her photos (& article) and then deftly write about the universal stages of life and how difficult it can be to “let go” of the past as we grow older - something all of us at every age can relate to. Very timely AD with everything going on around us concerning the age issue - with President Biden and all the baby boomers out there (like me). It is NOT easy to do that self-assessing thing. I’ll file away the Carl Jung quote and refer to it when I need to. Thank you, Andrew.

Yes! That's what I also appreciate about your work--how you take threads and weave together, always more than the parts!
