Co-hosts of 'The View' & other pundits have slammed the Fulton County DA for an alleged affair with lead prosecutor Nathan Wade. Here's what they've failed to mention about this red-herring sex case.
Andrew - Thanks so much for providing great (and local) perspective on this, as always. I have been rooting for Georgia and Georgians to get this complex process right for all our sakes and for all the reasons you state. I have been impressed by Willis' and the state's legal infrastructure so far. I hope they keep making important and timely progress through all the noise.
And thank you, Biz, for reading and for your encouraging thoughts. I'm glad you found this perspective from a local helpful. Like you, I hope this sideshow does not distract from the actual business of the court. Stay tuned.
The corruption in both parties is shocking to see. We have Biden and his son cutting deals before funding Ukraine. And then there is Trump, criminal in so many ways, most likely. Who people sleep with should not matter, but sadly American politics in general these days is simply a pursuit of slander and accusation. The issues are third, fourth or further down the list and all of this is distracting people from the real issues at hand.
Excellently written, across the pond most people I know see the issues in America as glaring and obvious, the corruption of both Dems and MAGA types even more so.
I pray for the fine people of America, the ones who get up every day in the pursuit of a goal and to contribute to society. This is the true America.
Keep these coming Andrew, I learn a lot and your balanced insight is appreciated. True news is and has not been Fox or CNN for some time, people are finding truthful debate in places like your newsletter.
Thanks for weighing in, David. I appreciate your encouraging comments and your perspective as a writer and world-traveling citizen of the UK. Thanks also for praying for us Americans. We need all the help we can get. Times that try men's souls and all that. It's good to know you find my reports helpful and insightful. It means a lot.
The desperation of the Trump team is scary. They have an idol with clay feet. We can only hope that their tactics fail. Thanks for your clear analysis.
The talking heads seem to be multiplying over this one. I hadn't intended to write about this, but those talking heads pushed me to it. So much uninformed, fragmented, and patently biased commentary. Thanks for reading and commenting. Much appreciated.
I've been scratching my head over this, wondering why it would even enter anyone's mind that this affair has anything to do with the Trump case. We live in a tabloid universe. The Enquirer has replaced the Times as a trusted medium. When I was a kid, I saw some gangster movie with Edward G. Robinson playing a mob boss. All of the tough guys, huge muscular goons armed to the teeth, were terrified of him. I could not understand why they cared at all what he thought. Why didn't they just ignore him? Now, 60-odd years later, life is following art.
Your recollection of Edward G. Robinson reminds me of the way tiny dogs bark their heads off at much larger dogs who seem intimidated by those pipsqueaks. The reason you've been scratching your head over this brouhaha is that it's just that--a brouhaha. Its momentum comes from the very tabloid mentality you mentioned. Thanks for taking the time to read and share your thoughts. I really appreciate it.

No worries Andrew, you write great and inform me greatly.
Red herrings are all over the news - my gut always makes me question the why, from a people perspective.

And thank you for taking time to read and comment. Clay feet indeed. And he has become an idol. That's for sure.
Such a clear thoughtful read. I want to push it in the faces of every talking head in the media. Thanks for this.

Thorough and insightful...as always! Fingers crossed for Fani and the RICO trial.
Thank you for weighing in. Fingers crossed that this distraction doesn't achieve what it's clearly designed to do.
Excited to read!
Thank you. It will be interesting to hear how this looks across the pond.
