Listen now (10 min) | Though it may seem unrelated to the current epidemic of mass shootings, gerrymandering is killing our children. Part 1 of a series
Yes it really is quite critical. And quite dangerous. Thanks for taking the time to read/listen. And for finding some value in what I've reported about the impact of gerrymandering in Georgia. I appreciate your thoughts.
Excellent analysis Andrew! Without the ability to seek common ground, we will continue to descend into the dark chaos. Light is a combination of different colored light.
Thanks so much, Keith. It's alarming that our national polarization can be traced to the cellular level and partisan redistricting. Your point is equally astonishing. Until we find common ground, the nation will continue to "descend into the dark chaos." I appreciate your read and your thoughtful response.
A clear analysis of the ongoing mess created by isolating groups with a single opinion as a voting block. There can be no dialogue when only one viewpoint has a voice.
Thanks for taking the time to read this. I totally agree with you. There can be no dialogue when only one viewpoint has a voice. We're already seeing this play out in the opening salvos of the gun control talks in DC. Each side has begun by saying what they won't discuss. I would love it if the politicians surprised us all by acting like statesmen.
This is one of the most critical challenges America faces. Thanks for highlighting the painful news about what's happening in Georgia.

Well said. Hard to see a way out of this downward spiral
Thanks for taking time to read it. This situation has really pushed my usual optimism up against the wall. I appreciate your thoughts, as always.

It would be a miraculous change if our representatives acted like statesmen. An event to be prayed for.
Well, I still believe in miracles and prayer. Thanks so much.
I never thought about the connection - a lot to think about here!
Thanks so much for reading it. The separation of our country into red vs blue blocks really hit me when I voted recently. I appreciate your comment.
